The Change We Need is Not on the Ballot

World Can't Wait | March 1, 2016

You could do a lot of damage by putting your hopes, and your resources and time, behind a candidate for president in 2016.

Why? There is no one seeking to be Commander in Chief in 2016 from either party who will:

  • stop targeted killing by the U.S. military;
  • shut down or even trim the 1,100+ U.S. bases around the world;
  • apologize to or pay reparations to those countries destroyed by the so-called 'war on terror'

It's a system problem, not a politician problem. And there is no referee who is going to make this turn out well.

You could do a lot of good by supporting visible resistance to the crimes of our government.

Please become a Change We Need Sustainer for 2016 by giving a monthly donation to World Can't Wait. 25 new sustainers are needed by April 1. No fooling.

Every Republican candidate pledges never to close Guantanamo, but to add more prisoners. Hillary & Bernie have both voted to keep it open while in the Senate. Put your hopes in a movement that brings people the reality behind why the U.S. has kept the prison open, despite Obama's promises.

Each of the campaigns produce military veterans they're proud of for "keeping our country safe."  World Can't Wait is recruiting a different group of veterans who will tell students the real story about Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam.

While neither party will allow discussion, much less action, on the undeniable conclusions in the Senate Torture Report that the Bush regime was responsible for leading war crimes, War Criminals Watch, a project of World Can't Wait, organizes exposure and protest of the criminals.

Sign up today as a sustainer and make these actions and much more possible:

World Can't Wait mobilizes people living in the United States to stand up and stop war on the world, repression and torture carried out by the US government. We take action, regardless of which political party holds power, to expose the crimes of our government, from war crimes to systematic mass incarceration, and to put humanity and the planet first.
